The chosen steed

I'm still selecting one or two parts, but this is the frame which I'll be riding. Likely with front suspension, but I do have a rigid fork I'm going to try out through the winter.

And so it begins.

I submitted my letter of intent to the Tour Divide website today, it read as follows:

I've raced in the different local XC race series. I get to question my sanity and talk to myself for a couple of hours at a time.
I've raced the NUE series. I get to question my sanity and talk to myself all day.
I'm going to race the TD. I've got a month off work and I figure that should be plenty of time to have a decent conversation with myself then somehow find my way home from AW.

Once I'd done that I figured I should get with the times and start a TD blog.
